I likes...

Yeah it's good to have a thread on it so we can see how it progresses, or fails. It'll be interesting seeing who all will be exactly on it.

I hope it will be a good game with fantastic controls.

I will admit to orginally thinking this was gonna be huge. Now I think they will have to make an incredible game that I doubt they can make to get over the WHO? factor.Randy Couture is the only selling point this game has and you would think that Dana would dissuade him from breaking his back promoting this thing.Only positive I can think of is that with the exception of Randy these guys are probably being paid peanuts,so EA doesnt need to sell a ton of copies to be successful

It's going to be tough for EA to keep the fighter line up consistent for every game iteration if each of them asks for a lot of money. Hopefully, EA has come with a solution for that. Randy Couture is the biggest name in there, no doubt. Maybe Fedor to a certain degree. Didn't I remember that fans chanted Fedor's name in a UFC ppv? That must count for something.

I wonder if EA would be better off signing off 'package' deals like guys from Xtreme Couture, guys from Team Quest, Miletich Fighting, etc. than signing solo fighters. I guess you cannot get around signing solo fighters for the big names, but I think it might be an interesting licensing scheme they could look into in the future.

I don't think anyone has any official ties to a gym for them to be able to do something like this though.

If it happened, it would just be a series of individual contracts rather than a group one.

I was just thinking of how the IFL did things before with their camps and stuff...

I'm interested in seeing how the "career" mode will be in this game, as Coker said recently that Strikeforce is the "premier level" of the game, so it would be really f'n cool to build up an unknown, from smaller shows to the big events.

If gameplay is better than Undisputed and they get a LOT more fighters (hell raid DREAM, Sengoku, all of Shooto, MTC, hell KOTC I don't care)... I'll get this game rather than the UFC one.
