Who's pumped?

This should be an awesome night.

We've been spoiled as hell this week.

Straight, I should be home from work by then.
I'll have to catch a feed as I don't have Versus.

Really want to see Torres in a badass scrap against Mizugaki, anything even resembling Torres/Maeda would be pimp. I would have loved to see Bowles in there fighting for the title, but WEC did very well in getting Mizugaki to step in or somewhat short notice. Mizugaki's got heavy hands and is quick, but my concern is his sub-D, I think Torres will exploit that in the later rounds.

Also, Akitoshi as a BW I another thing I want to see, even though I understand it's not on the main card IIRC. He is going to submit Manny Tapia.

Versus and the WEC re-upped their deal recently and part of it was Versus obtaining rights to show prelims on their web site. I don't know if that starts tonight or not though.

Haha, posted at the same time. So that confirms that Tamura/Tapia is not on the main card. That is ****ing bull****.

It's cool I'm gonna have to catch it online anyway with a stream. Versus isn't even as much as offered where I'm at.

Here's the whole card for thsoe looking for a quick glance:

--
WEC Bantamweight Championship
Miguel Torres (135) vs. Takeya Mizugaki (135)

Jeff Curran (135) vs. Joseph Benavidez (134)
Benson Henderson (156) vs. Shane Roller (156)
Rafael Assuncao (145.5) vs. Jameel Massouh (146)
Anthony Njokuani (156) vs. Bart Palaszewski (155)
Dominick Cruz (135) vs. Ivan Lopez (134.5)
Wagnney Fabiano (146) vs. Fredson Paixao (144)
Eddie Wineland (135) vs. Rani Yahya (136)
Manny Tapia (135.5) vs. Akitoshi Tamura (135.5)
Rafael Dias (145) vs. Mike Budnik (149)
--

Can't believe that Tamura was pushed back so far in his BW debut, especially since he's taking on a guy like Tapia! It should easily be one of the top bouts here.

Still it's a very solid card. Benavidez/Big Frog should be pretty sick, and Bena is pretty badass but Curran has too much experience and lot to lose with a 3rd stright loss.. Curran should take an UD. I want to see Assuncao fight too. Bartimus is usually pretty fun to watch. Wagnney should pick up a win, but Paixao is a damn good fighter who took out guys lke Imanari and quickly got rid of that punk Thomas Denny. I know that is nothing stellar, but he is young and has a lot in his upcoming future. Even with that said, I'm still picking Wagnney to get the win though, UD.

Thank goodness, I always hated how they wewren't like the UFC in that you couldn't catch the undercards on the net. Really glad to hear the news. Anyways, I'm pumped as hell for this event. This week has been a really great time for MMA. Hell, today alone we've been blessed with awesome fights and are gauranteed more in WEC 40.

TUF 10
DREAM.8
WEC 40
Bully Beatdown
Dhani Tackles the Globe
TUF 10
Strikeforce Shamrock-Diaz

Starts in 20 min.

I'm debating between watching the stream or downloading the HDrip tomorrow.
